Paul Edward Poorman, age 74, died unexpectedly on June 18, 2021, in Ocala, Florida.

Paul is survived by his wife, Susan Kominiarek Poorman of Ocala, Florida, his children, Jennifer (Bill) Nichols, of Buchanan, Michigan, John Poorman of Niles, Michigan; his grandchildren, Tony and Brianna Nichols of Buchanan, Michigan, and Ashlee Poorman of Niles, Michigan; his sisters, Bonnie (Al) Eaton of Niles, Michigan, and Mary Ann (Teddi) Kilburn of New Buffalo, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Adah Poorman, of Buchanan, Michigan; and his brother, Richard Poorman, of Florida.

Paul was born on September 1, 1946, in Niles, Michigan. He graduated from Buchanan High School in 1965 and Southwestern Michigan College with an Associates Degree. Paul married the love of his life, Susan, on June 28, 1969. They were married for 52 wonderful years. They have two children and three grandchildren. Paul and Susan raised their family in Buchanan, Michigan and then in 2013 they retired to Ocala, Florida.

Paul spent most of his career in the retail grocery business. He was a great family man and loved spending time with his family, friends, and traveling. He was also an avid Notre Dame football fan. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind-hearted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
