Paul Christopher Slater, 73, of Flagler Beach, FL, formerly from Lynn Haven, FL, peacefully passed away Saturday, May 4th, 2024. He was born May 16th, 1950 to John Thomas Slater, Jr. and Julia (Ziukas) Slater in West Haven, Connecticut.

Paul was a huge fan of the University of Miami Hurricanes, loved the color green and his Irish heritage, garlic blue crabs, and fishing. He was the "entertainment" at any gathering.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, John and Julia Slater and Robert and Eleanor Ziukas Miller. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Nichols) Slater, who he missed dearly.

Paul is survived by his sister, Eileen (Walter) Heinig. He was the uncle Erik Heinig and the late Marc Heinig. Paul was great uncle to Hunter and Liam Heinig. Paul was the father of Dawn Slater and grandfather "Peepa Paul" to Asher Snyder. He was also the "brother" of Robert (Bobby) Miller, Kathy Bitterman, Cheryl Banks, Victor Miller, Judy Klein, and Glen Miller. He was brother-in-law to Brenda Blackwell and Gail Hogg and son-in-law to Josephine Houchin.

Celebration of life services will be announced at a later date.
