Paul John Vickers, 64, of Cape Coral, FL and formerly of Colorado and Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.  Born on February 24, 1958 in Marlette, MI to the proud parents of John W. & Barbara Ann (Rich) Vickers, Paul was an accomplished software engineer, operating computer systems for many decades.  Starting his career as a Reporting Specialist, Paul worked his way thru Document Management to Digital Video Applications to Storage Management Control.

After cutting short his career, he devoted the last 10-12 years of his life and time to his wife Donna and her continuing, courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.  He also loved helping out family and friends with any computer issues they may be having.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Donna; his father & Step Mother, John W. & Carol Vickers of Fort Myers, FL; his brother David & Janet Vickers of Bothell, WA; his two sisters: Suzanne & Jack Schodlbauer Jr and Alison & Bill Seiz, both of Cape Coral, FL.  Paul was preceded in death by his loving mother, Barbara Ann Vickers.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Fort Myers Christian Church, 5916 Winkler Road, Fort Myers, FL
