Paulette Chadwell, of New Port Richey, passed away peacefully the afternoon December 7th, 2023, with her son and two sisters by her side. She was born September 24th, 1948, in Danville and raised in Lancaster, Kentucky. Paulette graduated from Garrard County High School in 1966 and went on to graduate from Eastern KY University in 1970 with a BA in Education. Paulette loved her career teaching, was an excellent educator and loved watching her students grow with knowledge. She taught across numerous grade levels within elementary and middle schools throughout her career in both KY and FL. She also dedicated her summers to teaching summer school and was loved and respected both by her students and colleagues. Paulette was an avid reader and enjoyed many extracurricular activities including boating, being a beautiful slalom skier, playing cards, golfing and also karate. She loved dancing and became an elegant ballroom dancer. Paulette also enjoyed shopping and had a keen eye for fashion and jewelry. Paulette was a loving grandmother (Mema), mother, daughter and sister. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and her kindness, generosity and love for her family was unconditional. Paulette is survived by her son, Chad (Lori) Murphy, three grand-children, Olivia Tantillo, Colin Murphy, and Tyler Murphy, two sisters, Beverly (Jim) David, Terri Chadwell (Deborah Rudell), her niece, Jennifer (Mark) McCoy, a grand-niece, Emma McCoy and grand-nephew, Levi McCoy along with many other extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Paul B. and Bobbie R. Chadwell of Somerset, KY and her daughter Andrea Murphy of Lancaster, KY. A celebration on Paulette's life will be held privately by her immediate family.
