IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pauline
Martin
August 28, 1946 – November 29, 2023
Pauline Martin came into this world on August 28th, 1946, a cherished addition to the loving embrace of Neville and Albadore in the beautiful land of Antigua, West Indies. Pauline's childhood was spent in Christian Hill, where she received her education and found solace in the Methodist Church. In Antigua, Pauline later grew up to pursue a career in the medical field, where she made a meaningful impact. Along her journey, she crossed paths with her beloved husband, Joshua Martin, Sr., who has since passed away. Pauline and Jousha welcomed their first son, Nichol, before they decided to relocate to St. Thomas. Upon their arrival in St. Thomas, Pauline, and Jousha Sr. were blessed with the addition of four more children to their family. She dedicated herself to ensuring her children were always at their best, and she also made it a priority to contribute to the betterment of the community. Pauline continued her medical career by joining the Department of Health's substance misuse advocacy team. Pauline chaired the youthful Democratic organization, worked as a volunteer at the Red Cross, and supported numerous legislators as she gained a lot of friendships. Pauline embarked on a new culinary adventure with her beloved son during her golden years. Sundays were a special day at PEEDEE's bar and restaurant, where customers came to savor the exquisite saltfish plate handcrafted with utmost care and devotion. Following her illness, Pauline decided to leave her beloved home and move to Florida to be closer to her children. Pauline was deeply cherished and dedicated to creating meaningful moments with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Pauline Angela Martin will be deeply missed, but her presence was extraordinary.
