Peggy Ann Noble's Obituary

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Peggy Ann (Clardy) Noble of The Villages, Florida. Peggy entered her Heavenly home the evening of Easter Sunday, April 5, 2025. She was eighty-one years old and shared her final days surrounded by her loving family.

Peggy was born in Phillip, Mississippi where she was lovingly raised by her parents William (Charlie) and MaryJane Clardy alongside her six siblings.

Peggy moved to the midwest where she quickly captured the heart of Keith Michael Noble. The two were wed on October 20, 1962 at the tender age of seventeen. Their love deepened with each passing year as they attended countless family gatherings, camped about the waterways and mountains and kayaked the rainbow river many times.

Mike and Peggy lovingly raised their children Tamara, Lisa and John in Crystal Lake Illinois. They both taught their children to live and grow without boundaries, and unconditional love was rooted in their family foundation. Mike and Peggy molded their children through faith, and taught them about the importance of forgiveness and to live every day with an unyielding character.

Peggy's greatest gift was the love she poured into her family, friends, neighbors and all children. Peggy ended her career as an area manager for Head Start but those who knew her knew Peggy’s love was always rooted in children. As a teacher's aid, a teacher, a visiting family advocate and through her position as Director, Peggy could always be found seated upon the floor with children in her lap, reading to them, playing with them and refueling them with unconditional love.

Though Peggy gave much of her heart to the children of Head Start, she never ran short in pouring agape love into her family. She fervently loved her family, and always carved out special time to love on them. As Peggy prepared to depart from this world, her last few precious smiles were garnered when she saw the faces and heard the voices of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her husband Keith Michael (Mike) Noble. Children Tamara Ann (Steve) Scully Lisa Kay (Timothy) Otterbacher and John Michael (Teresa) Noble; - Grandchildren, Megan Scully (Kike Landaeta), Kaylee Otterbacher, Dylan Scully, Calvin (Taylor) Otterbacher, Mackenzie and Sydney Noble; great grandchildren, Sloan Otterbacher, and Liam and Gabriella Landaeta; and siblings; Carol Clardy, Betty Sutton, Louise Raven, and Alvin (Debbie) Clardy.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Mary Jane Clardy, brothers Mabron and Paul, sister Pauline Clardy and brother in-laws Ronald Raven and John Sutton.

The family would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the entire staff of Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages. It was through their unending dedication and commitment to Peggy’s physical care and comfort that our family was able to cry, laugh, relive, and celebrate every memory we could remember in Peggy’s final days (even creating a few new ones along the way).

Though we grieve her absence, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that we will see her again. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5.

A celebration of her life will be held in June, details to be shared at a later date.
