Peter Schween, age 76, passed away on May 29, 2018 in Port Orange, Florida.  Pete was born in Hamburg, Germany on July 2, 1941.  He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Mary Ellen, four children: Steven Schween (Rhonda Mayorga), Michael Schween (daughter-in-law Carrie Schween), Thomas Schween, and Laura Long (son-in-law Bo Long), sister Joan Hakes, brothers Don Schween and Ralph Schween, and 14 grandchildren.  Pete was predeceased by his parents (Walter and Elsie Schween) and his sister (Maggie Schween).

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange on June 16, 2018 at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in the name of Pete Schween to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church (4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange FL 32129) or Kindred Hospice (1717 N. Clyde Morris Blvd #130, Daytona Beach FL 32117).
