VENTURA

Peter John, born in Chicago, IL in 1932, passed away on January 17, 2019.  Peter retired from First American Title Company in 1998.  He was a Vice President and Agency Manager and traveled all of Florida and part of Southeast United States.  Peter was also a real estate broker for many years in Putnam County from 1972 to 1982.  He served in the US Army during the Korean War where he earned a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars in 1952.  Peter and his wife, Patti moved to Ormond Beach in 2000, where he loved to fish, play golf, boating and was an avid Cubs fans.

Peter will be missed by his wife of 65 years, Patricia; his children, Linda J. Bickmeyer, Peter Jr., and Patti Ann Carico; his grandchildren, Kerri Lynn (Randy) Carder, Lindsay (Andy) Dabrowski, Sam Carico and Caitlin; and his three great grandchildren, Curren, Rush and Rhodes;  He is preceded in death by his son, Tony; and brother, Anthony.

Peter had a very active and full life. He was funny, generous and had a lust for Life.  He will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service for Peter will be on Wednesday, January 23, at 1 pm with a reception to follow at the Ventura residence.
