Philip Fazio, 68, of Ft. Myers, Florida passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 16, 2024 while battling cancer.

Born on March 10th, 1956, in Paterson, New Jersey, to Anthony and Lillian (Pennacchio) Fazio. He was a devoted husband, beloved father and pop, a friend and mentor who touched the lives of many.

Phil graduated from Montclair State University studying accounting and finance. He served as chief financial officer to many organizations, most notably in Syracuse, New York at SRC, where his legacy is one of leadership, care, and kindness. Phil was a frequent concertgoer, an avid golfer and sports fan, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family.

Phil is survived by his wife of 41 years, Meg (Beronio) Fazio; his children, Kelly Vespole (David), John Fazio (Jennifer), and James Fazio; and his beautiful grandchildren, Avyana, Violet, Olivia, Vincent, Benjamin, and Margaret, who were the twinkle in his eye. He is also survived by a loving and supportive extended family.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. From coaching youth sports to mentoring future leaders, Phil's desire to improve the lives of those around will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His humility, wit, and generosity will always be remembered.
