Philipp H. Lindenmeyer, 88, of Ocala FL, went home to be with the Lord on May 4th, 2026.

Philipp was born in New York City on May 5th, 1937 to Philipp L. and Klausianna J. Lindenmeyer (Borchers). He graduated from Drew University with a bachelor degree in Biology and received a Master of Science Degree from Rutgers University.

In 1960, Philipp married Janet C. Hull of New York City. He worked in sales for pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. Phil then was an assistant college professor before their move to Florida in the 1970s where he was a high school teacher.

Phil was a long time Floridian, originally residing in Bonita Springs finally retiring to Marion County. He loved his family and was a devoted life long Christian.

Philipp is survived by his wife, Janet, of 65 years and his two adult children, Mark and Beth. Phil was also blessed with 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Per his wishes, no memorial service will be scheduled. In lieu of flowers, if you feel led, please donate to your favorite church or charity.
