Phillip Reed Pedersen II passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026.

Born in Gainesville, Florida on January 18, 1996, Phillip packed an immense amount of love, magic, and determination into his 30-year journey. His kindness, quick wit, and deep strength left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Phillip graduated from Forest High School in 2013 and carried a lifelong passion for writing and film. A defining testament to his strength was his fierce determination to live independently, a major goal that he met with incredible resolve and pride.

Those who knew Phillip best will remember his sharp, witty humor and his deep love for the Harry Potter and Star Wars universes. He lived his life by the philosophy of Acts 20:35: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Phillip was a naturally protective and loving brother to his siblings, and nothing brought him more joy than spoiling his seven nieces and nephews whenever he was able. He was a master at giving, always looking for ways to bring a spark of happiness to his family. His absolute favorite holiday was Halloween, a season that perfectly matched his fun-loving spirit and imagination.

Phillip is survived by his father, Phillip Reed Pedersen I; his stepmother, Beverly Lord; his grandmother, Linda Pedersen; his sisters, Devin Pedersen, Emily Pedersen, and Julia Pedersen; his stepsiblings, Aimee Feliciano and Ian Jeppesen; his aunt, April Bodine; his uncle, Allan Pedersen; his aunt, Tanya Hatfield; his cousins, Joey Bodine and McKenzie Hatfield; and his beloved 7 nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Allan Reed Pedersen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4545 SE 8th Street, Ocala, FL 34471 on August 8, 2026 from 3pm-6pm.
