Ms. Phuong Hong Nguyen, 61, a resident of Fort Myers, passed into glory the afternoon of Saturday, March 4, 2023 while in the care of Lee Health Health Park Medical Center, following a recent illness.

Born on Thursday, June 1, 1961in Thu Duc, Vietnam, she was the daughter to Nhan Van and Nam (Tran) Nguyen and was educated in the Vietnamese schools.

Prior to illness causing her early retirement, Ms. Nguyen was employed in the local beauty industry as a nail technician.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Nhan Van Nguyen.

Left to cherish her memory in addition to her mother, Nam Tran also of Fort Myers, are her beloved son, Chau Tran of San Jose, California; Grandchildren, Alani, aleah and Annelyn; Sisters and Brothers including Loan Hong Nguyen, Lawndale, CA; Suong Hong Nguyen of Saigon, Vietnam; Yen Hong Nguyen, San Jose, CA; Chuong Thanh Nguyen, Fort Myers; Diep Nguyen, San Jose, CA; Vu Thanh Nguyen, San Jose, CA; Anh Hong Nguyen, San Jose, CA; Kathleen Hong Nguyen, Fort Myers; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to join Phuong's family for visitation and shared remembrances on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Cape Coral location of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, 290 Nicholas Parkway, NW, Unit #19, Cape Coral, Florida 33991.

Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of her family.
