Phyllis Ann Hudson, 80, of Cape Coral, Florida, and Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025.  She was born on June 18, 1944, to Kendru and Mary Frances (Lynn) Anderson.

Phyllis was a loving wife to Donald Hudson, whom she married on January 27, 1973.  Together, they shared 44 years of love and memories until Donald's passing. Phyllis was an accomplished professional, owning and operating Hudson Davis Recruiting Agency.  She also thrived as a senior consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics, where she made history as the first legally blind individual in the company's history to win a car — a testament to her determination and spirit.

Phyllis was deeply involved in her community and loved being an active member of American Turners.  Her love for the outdoors and boating led her to become a member of the Harrods Creek Boat Owners Association.  In her downtime, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, watching her favorite Hallmark channel movies, and making memories that will forever be cherished.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald T. Hudson, as well as, her parents Chester and Mary Frances Davis.  Phyllis is survived by her children, Terri Kute, Steven Hudson (Kori), and Donna Wirth.  She is also survived by her brothers, in-laws, "Out Laws", several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as, a vast circle of friends who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of Phyllis' life will be held at a later date in Louisville, Kentucky, where all who loved her are invited to honor her incredible legacy.

Phyllis' legacy of strength, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. May she rest in peace.
