Born Phyllis Jean Morgan on August 26, 1922 in Harlan, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Stanley Morgan and Leta Blaine (Woods) Morgan and was the oldest of three children. Phyllis and Frank were blessed with two children, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank on January 25, 2002 and by her daughter Jill Smith on December 10, 2014.
