It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline (Polly) Elizabeth (Young) Dubeansky, who left us peacefully on January 27 th , 2025, at the age of 87 years young. Polly was born on June 7 th , 1937, in Parkman, Ohio, to Raymond and Wilma (McConnell) Young. Polly was a vibrant member of the Mentor, Ohio and Leesburg, Florida communities, beloved by family and friends alike.
Polly led a life full of compassion and kindness. After raising her family of 5 children, Polly graduated from Lake Erie College, with a degree in business management, and fulfilled her personal goal of obtaining a 4-year degree. Polly was deeply involved in her community, volunteering with the Mentor, Ohio Senior Center and contributing to numerous causes. Her generosity and willingness to help others knew no bounds, and they left a legacy of goodwill. Polly had a passion for aerobics, golf, Silver Sneakers, playing cards, shopping on QVC and dancing, particularly as an instructor of line dancing and aerobic at the senior centers. She was an active member of the Moose and Elk Clubs. Polly lived her last few years on Earth living life to the fullest, without a care in the world, snow birding her way to happiness.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone in Mentor, Ohio, and in Leesburg, Florida who has offered their support and condolences during this difficult time. A special THANK YOU to Adventhealth Waterman Hospital in Tavares, Florida, for going above and beyond.
Polly will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will endure forever.
May she rest in peace.
