Obituary

Priscilla Lois Lipker ("Lois")

July 7, 1941 – August 13, 2024

Priscilla Lois Lipker, affectionately known as Lois, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024, in Ormond Beach, Florida. Born in Kentucky on July 7, 1941, Lois lived a life full of love, service, and dedication to her family and community.

Lois is survived by her son, Scott Lipker; daughter, Toni Mascari (Michael); and her cherished grandchildren: Jeremy Lipker (Christina), Cheryl Stewart (Nathan), and Travis Bolanger (Melanie). She is also survived by her brother, Vernon Bliss; sister, Jan Frantz (Denny); six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Jack Lipker; her father, Wilburn Scott; mother, Virginia Bliss; stepfather, Herbert Bliss; brother, Fred Scott; and sister, Charlene Lawson.

Lois worked tirelessly throughout her life in various roles, including waitress, factory worker, secretary, and ultimately as a dispatcher for the City of Dayton Fire Department. Her greatest joy came from her acts of service to others—whether through baking cakes, making her renowned fudge, or crocheting blankets for loved ones.

A devoted pet lover, Lois was known for her beloved Sassy 1 and Sassy 2, the latter of whom was affectionately known as the "almost bionic dog." Lois was a second mother to many and a cherished best friend to dozens.
