Quenell "Buddy" Bonds, age 84, of Umatilla, Florida, peacefully passed away on July 16, 2025. He was born on March 31, 1941, in Chauncey, Georgia.

Buddy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was married to the love of his life, Mary Rose Bonds, with whom he shared a life full of love, laughter, and faith.

He worked faithfully for over 30 years at Seco Electric Company, where his strong work ethic and dedication earned the respect of many. In his free time, Buddy enjoyed the simple pleasures of life – fishing, cutting grass, and taking pride in maintaining his beautiful lawn. He loved to serve his community as a Citizen on Patrol for the lake county sheriff department. He also deeply loved his church family at Life Changing Church of God.

Buddy is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Bonds; his children Joel (Linda) Bonds, Norris Bonds, Jessica Bonds, Chris Bonds, and Chelsea Bonds; sister-in-law Carol Bonds; and a host of cherished grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Life Changing Church of God, Umatilla, Florida.

Buddy's warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will be dearly missed but forever remembered by all who knew him
