At the age of 76, Ramon Arroyo, also known as "Papa," passed away in Ocala, Florida. He was born on July 14, 1940 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, ping pong, pool, listening to music and dancing, and tinkering with electronics. Papa, as everyone knew him, found joy in his last job prior to retirement, driving a school bus. It was indicative of his love of children and driving.

Ramon is survived by Delia, his loving wife of 50 years, and many other family members to whom he was much more than just a brother or uncle.

As a veteran who served in Germany during the time of the Vietnam War, he will be remembered Friday, April 21, 2017 at 2:30 pm at the Florida National Cemetery for Veterans in Bushnell, Florida.
