Obituary for Randy Joe Cantrell, Venice, Florida (Jan. 10, 1941-Jan. 8, 2025)

Randy Joe Cantrell, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away in Venice, Florida, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. He was born January 10, 1941, to Jack E. and Virginia (Bartley) Cantrell, who preceded him in death. Randy grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1959. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963-65. Randy retired from Ductmate Industries in 1999, after 18 years, as Regional Sales Manager. He was an avid golfer as a resident of the Venice Golf and Country Club, and he loved fishing and all sports. Randy is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Janet (Lowe) Cantrell, his stepdaughter, Leann (Bob) Donaldson, and his nephew, Jason (Debbie) Cantrell and their children AJ and Katie. He was preceded in death by his brother Buddy Cantrell, niece Julie Gilbert, and his first wife Ann (Eckert) Cantrell. At Randy's request, there will be no service. A donation may be made in Randy's name to Christ Venice Church at 1475 Center Road, or Tidewell Village on the Isle Care Center, Venice., Florida.

Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, Indiana.
