Randy Albert Frantz, born December 20, 1970, to Albert and Joan Frantz in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 9, 2026. As the youngest of six children, Randy grew up in a lively and close-knit family. He is survived by his siblings Tommy (Deb) Salvadore, Gary (Eve) Salvadore, Scott Frantz, and Lisa Wallace, and was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mickey Salvadore. He is also remembered by many relatives and extended family members.

Randy was the father of two adult children, Angelica Zimmerman and Michael (Brooke) Frantz. Though life brought its share of distance and complexity, his children remain an important part of his story. Throughout his life, Randy carried a strong work ethic and was known for his integrity, his sense of responsibility, and his willingness to stand by his principles. He loved working in security and took pride in helping serve and protect his community in a myriad of ways.

He had a lifelong passion for CB radios and police scanners - hobbies that reflected his curiosity and the way he stayed connected to the world around him. He also enjoyed riding his bicycle, a simple pastime that brought him peace and freedom. Randy loved being outdoors and found joy in fishing, jet skiing, boating, and camping. He took road trips whenever he could - preferably with zero stops along the way - and spent several years as a Boy Scout leader with Troop 429, sharing those outdoor experiences with his son, who was also part of the troop, and with the scouts he mentored. Randy will be remembered for his quiet strength, his personal values, and the place he held within his family.

In honor of Randy's memory, his family encourages anyone walking through heavy or overwhelming seasons to reach out for care. There is help, there is hope, and there are people ready to listen. No one has to carry their burdens alone.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Daytona Beach Drive-In Christian Church, located at 3140 South Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach Shores, Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 11:00.
