Ray Eugene Thompson, 68, born in Deluth, Minnesota on July 7, 1956 has left us to start a new journey on June 4, 2025 under the care of his family at home.

He was survived by his daughter Heather A. Thompson, son Todd R. Thompson, sister Jan-Marie Bagley, grandchildren McKenzie L. Mcintyre, Brianna R. Thompson, Alexus P. Thompson. Nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Janice E. Hanna, father Donald R. Thompson. Brother's Doug J. Thompson, Mark H. Thompson, Ricky D. Thompson, Ralph J. Thompson. Granddaughter Mckayla L. Mcintyre.

A celebration of life will be held on Ray's birthday July 7, 2025 at his families home in Florida. Also following a celebration of life to be held in Wray, Georgia where he resided for the past 7-8 years.

Ray was an avid outdoors man who loved to fish, hunt, and to just be one with nature (especially barefoot). If you knew him at all you would know he hated shoes. He would always say be there for others and help where you can and the good ones (true friends) will do the same for you. This motto is how he obtained so many friends that were considered family. Ray was an outstanding father, loving grandfather, caring uncle, admirable brother and all around great friend to have.
