Raymond J. Chapman III passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving children on May 3, 2020 in Fort Myers Beach after an arduous battle with cancer. Raymond was born February 3, 1962 to Raymond and Lois (Gillette) Chapman of New Baltimore, NY.  He was a graduate of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk HS and went on to attend SUNY Brockport.  After college, Raymond became a member of Local Union 363 where he thrived as a union electrician.

Raymond enjoyed helping others, watching a good movie (sometimes over and over again), going out dancing to live music with friends, walking his dog, Betty Lou, at the beach, but mostly spending time and making memories with his family.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Patricia C. Biele.  He is survived by his children, Kathleen (Andrew) Chapman, Samuel Chapman, and Brandie Chapman.  He is also survived by his beautiful granddaughter Kalianna Chapman.  He leaves behind his siblings Jack (Barb) Chapman; Carol (Wayne) Cronin; Kevin (Chene) Chapman; Lois (Anthony) Porrazzo;  Tracey (Keith) Traver;  Patrick "Chip" Chapman; Michael Chapman; Mary (Randy) MacDonald; and Kerry (Rob) Traver as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hope Hospice and the many other providers over the years for all their compassionate care.
