Raymond Hammond Harpe Jr, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in southern Florida on July 10, 2026. 

Born August 5, 1949, in the Bronx, New York, to Raymond H. Harpe Sr and Barbara E. Harpe. Raymond was a hard-working, self-employed businessman who proudly owned and operated several deli and convenience stores throughout his career. He was a man of deep faith, devoted to his church community, where he enjoyed Bible studies and serving alongside his dear friends in the church kitchen. When he wasn't at church, Raymond could be found on the golf course or caring for his car collection. 

He is lovingly remembered by his 5 daughters: Karry, Kacey, Kelly, Katrina, and Iliana; their spouses; his eight grandchildren; his two sisters, Barbara and Betty, and his brother, Richard and many extended family members and dear friends.He was welcomed into eternal peace by his parents, his two sisters, Carol and Loraine, and his beloved granddaughter, Madison Olivia Harpe -Pabon, and many cherished family members and friends who went before him. 

A private Celebration of Life will be held in The Villages, Florida on July 17th, with a second private celebration in upstate New York on August 8th.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
