Raymond Nydam Jr., age 77, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, at AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, Florida, and went to be with his Heavenly Father.

Ray was born on November 28, 1947, in Suffern, New York, to Raymond H. Nydam Sr. and Caroline Otte, and grew up in Wyckoff, New Jersey. He was a proud graduate of Rockland Community College and later earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Programming from Daytona State College.

In 1972, Ray married the love of his life, Jean E. Fostek, in Wyckoff. They shared 53 wonderful years together, raising a family and creating a lifetime of memories. Ray worked for many years in the grocery business and retired from Publix in 2010.

A true lover of life's simple joys, Ray had a deep appreciation for classic rock and roll, cheering on his favorite baseball teams, visiting Siesta Beach, biking down to Rose Bay, and simply sitting outside to enjoy the world around him.

Ray is survived by his devoted wife, Jean; his beloved daughter, Jennifer Mason; his sister, Bonnie Sylvia (Bill); and his nephew, Michael Sylvia. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at The Roost at Cranes Lake, 1850 Crane Lakes Blvd., Port Orange, FL 32128. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate Ray's life well-lived.
