Ray (Bill) Pryor, age 75, died in hospice on January 12, 2024 in Venice, Florida.

Ray is survived by his wife Meredith and his four sons: Raymond (Torrie), Kevin (Christi), Ed (Leanne), Jim (Ruth) and six grandchildren and his sister, Judy.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Dorothy and sisters Carole and Audrey.

Ray was born on August 9, 1948 in Chicago, IL.  He graduated from IIT with a degree in photography and worked for Kodak many years as a general manager.  He later changed careers and was a successful mortgage loan officer for US Bank until he retired.

Ray was a social, active man who was deeply involved in his church and passionate about helping the poor through St. Vincent DePaul society.  He loved boating, his dogs and all things family related.

A memorial mass of Christian burial will be held at 11AM April 12, 2024, at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 297 E. Jefferson Ave. in Hampshire, IL. Burial will follow at St Charles Borromeo cemetery. Visitation will be prior to mass from 10 to 11 AM at the church.
