Raymond E. Reber, age 83 of Ormond Beach, FL passed away into his Saviour's arms after a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Alliance, OH, May 15, 1933 to Elmer and Pauline Reber.  He loved life, people and laughter.  He loved to travel, camping and cruising.  He attended Fairmount School and Alliance High School.  High school football and Hot Store League were his favorite sports.  He retired from Transues in 1985.

He married the love of his life Linda (Fink) and celebrated their 60th anniversary on September 30, 2016.

He is survived by his wife Linda of Ormond Beach, FL; son, Michael Ray of Tarpon Springs, FL and daughter Sally Jo Pyle (Robert); 3 grandchildren, Jarrod Pyle of Massillon, OH, Nathan (Bethany) Pyle of Alliance, OH and Mikayla Pyle of Alliance, OH.  One great-granddaughter, Emma Rose Pyle of Alliance, OH.  Also surviving him are nephews, Roy Greenwald, Jimmy Greenwald, Bobby Greenwald, Richie Reber, Steven Reber and Rob Reber and sister-in-law, Bonnie Reber.

Preceding him in death were his parents, brother Robert and sister Betty Jones.

A Memorial Service will be held at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 1185 W. Granada Blvd. Ste#11, Ormond Beach, FL, October 26, 2016 6-8 pm.  A Celebration of Life will be held October 29, 2016 1 pm at First Friends Church on State St. in Alliance, OH.  Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice Care 770 W.
