Raymond K. Rinehart of Edgewater, Florida passed away September 21,2015, may he
rest in peace. He was born in Mount Holly, N.J. on February 1, 1933 to Mary (Lucas} and
Raymond Rinehart.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and severed as a City of Lockport, N.Y firefighter.
from 1957 until moving to Florida.
He married our Mother Eloise Crafts Rinehart on May 19, 1956, the love of his life and
moved to Florida with his family to find his dreams in the sunshine.
He owned several salvage yards in Volusia County and in St. Augustine Florida. He built
many homes and bought and sold Real Estate. Our father worked very hard his whole
life. He was a member of Edgewater Moose Lodge, The AmVets and American Legion Post 285.
All who knew him called him "Poor Old Ray"
He is survived by two brothers John (Jean) Rinehart, Lockport, NY, and Aaron (Pam)
Rinehart. Port Orange, FL, and former wife and mother of their children Eloise Rinehart;
his loving children, Kathy Rinehart of Edgewater, FL, Julie Rinehart of New Smyrna
Beach, Jeff Rinehart of Edgewater, FL and John (Kim) Rinehart of Richmond. VT as well as many
loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed. Life Celebration will be held 2:00 PM Monday, September 28,2015
at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL 32169.
