Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully June 27, 2019 at the age of 85 in Ormond Beach, Florida with his wife Sharon by his side.

Raymond is survived by his wife Sharon, son Timothy Wells of Stockbridge, GA.  Daughter Sandra Sullivan and Son in law Mark Sullivan of Bridgewater MA.  Grandchildren Andrew, Justin and Aimee. Great grandchild Hailey

He was born in Syracuse, NY on November 9, 1933 to Ward and Ethel Wells. He spent his childhood in the small town of Red Creek, NY with his older brother Clifford.

He served in the United States Airforce during the Korean War with the 1299th Air Transport Squadron.  He graduated from Morrisville, NY state college in 1959. On August 18, 1961 he married his sweetheart Sharon. His career was as a Sales Manager with Robertshaw Controls until he retired in 1996.

He and Sharon raised their children in Cumberland, RI and in 1989 moved to Conyers, GA to finish out his career.  In 1996 they retired to Ormond Beach, FL.

Raymond was a devoted father to his wife and two children.  He enjoyed golfing watching Patriots football and Syracuse Basketball. He liked making people laugh with his dry sense of humor. He really enjoyed spending a day at the beach, a picnic lunch on the bluffs of Jamestown, RI, and spending time with family and friends.  He loved his cat Ceaser and napping together on a quiet afternoon.

Our fond memories of him will forever be alive in our hearts and he will be missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday July 27 ^th 2019 at 11:00 am.
