Rebecca Jean Collver, M.D. was born March 2, 1982, in Miami, Florida and entered heaven, surrounded by her loved ones, on June 8, 2023, in Titusville, Florida. Rebecca was a fighter from her first breath as she was born three months early at only 2 pounds. Her first twelve years of life were spent in Homestead, FL. Growing up she loved to dance, especially ballet and later ballroom dancing. Rebecca played the French Horn and loved marching band, first at Titusville High and the in the Marching Chiefs at Florida State University. She graduated from Titusville High in 2001, B.S. degree at Florida State University in 2005 and then earned her Doctor of Medicine from FSU in 2010. Rebecca completed her Internship in General Surgery at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Illness necessitated her return home to Titusville to heal. Rebecca laid down her lifelong dream of practicing medicine to stay in Titusville and care for her aging grandparents in their home until their deaths. She was very involved in the lives of her four nieces and nephews, who affectionately called her Aunt Bee. Rebecca loved Jesus and loved children, so she volunteered with the Children's Ministry at her church. She loved baking and blessed so many with her creations. Rebecca dedicated her life to helping others and bringing joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. "Rebecca has fought the good fight, Rebecca has finished the race and Rebecca has kept the faith." 2 Tim 4:7. Rebecca is survived by her parents, Charles and Pamela Collver, her brothers, Michael (Erin) Collver and Jonathan (Jennifer) Collver, her nieces and nephews, Emma, Joslynn, Kevin and Jonah Collver; her dear friend Rachel Ketcham Cichra; aunts, Linda Freeman, Ellen Holdsworth, Cindy Danner, Genie Boulahanis and Christine Crosby and many cousins. A celebration of Life will take place June 24, 2023, 2 p.m. at Hope Community Fellowship 2929 Cheney Highway Titusville, FL 32780.
