Rebecca J. Cornish, 74, of Edgewater, Fla., formerly of Barton, N.Y., passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Halifax Health Hospice Service in Edgewater, Fla., after a brief illness.

Rebecca was born in Sayre, Pa., to Avis Goodwin Riley and Donald Lattimer. Rebecca enjoyed traveling, camping, driving on the beach and creating cherished memories with family. She dedicated her life to caring for her children and husband.

Rebecca will be greatly missed by her daughter, Susan Tiffany of Edgewater, Fla.; sons, Timothy (Cindy) Cornish of Delano, Tenn., Allan (Robin) Cornish of Etowah, Tenn., Paul (Tammy) Cornish of Barton, N.Y. and Charles Cornish of Elmira, N.Y., stepson, Marvin Cornish Jr. of Clifton Springs, N.Y., stepdaughters, Tammy Lynn (Steve) Harrower of Barton, N.Y., and Sandy (Timothy) Walston of Grandview, Tenn..

Rebecca is also survived by her brothers; Howard Paul (Theresa) Lattimer of Waverly N.Y., Ronald (Jean) Lattimer of Windsor, SC, sister, Sharon Dozier of Texas;12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her beloved husband Marvin J. Cornish Sr., parents Avis Goodwin Riley, and Donald Lattimer, son-in-law William Tiffany and great-grandson DeCota Logan.

At Rebecca's request, there will be a Celebration of Life at a time to be determined by the family.
