Rebecca Ann Gulde, age 59, of Fort Myers, FL passed away at her home on October 14, 2024 surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.

Rebecca was born on March 16, 1965 in Rushville, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph Francis Gulde, Jr. and Janet Irene (Dearinger) Gulde. She moved to Ft. Myers, FL with Joseph and Janet in 1981, graduating from Bishop Verot Catholic High School in Ft. Myers in 1984.

She returned to Indiana briefly where she studied Computer Programming at ITT Technical Institute. Back in FL, Rebecca worked in various roles for the Lee County Tax Collector for over 28 years.

Her love of the Dallas Cowboys was as undisputed as her love for family with whom she watched countless football games over the years. She loved going to the movies and attending concerts and live theater when she could. She loved birthday dinners at Red Lobster, shopping, traveling and lots and lots of chocolate and Coca Cola.

Rebecca is survived by siblings Joe Gulde III and his wife Mari, Nick Gulde and Steve Gulde; two nephews, Justin Schnitker and Tyler Gulde; one niece, Alyssa Gulde Meadows and her husband Aaron Meadows.

A Memorial service and burial are planned for Spring '25 in Rushville, Indiana. Date to be announced at a later time.
