Richard (Dick) Bicksler, age 77, of Port Orange, died unexpectedly Monday, September 5th 2016. Dick was born and raised in Fort Atkinson, WI. He attended the University of Wisconsin and graduated with a bachelors degree in Mathematics. He was married to his loving wife Sandra (Gregory) Bicksler for 47 years. Dick was employed by General Electric as a component engineer for 25 years. After retirement, he worked at the Daytona Beach International Speedway. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching Alabama football "Roll Tide". Dick was a long term season ticket holder for Embry-Riddle Basketball. His hobbies included: reading, stock investing, gardening, and tinkering in the garage. But what brought him the most joy was spending time with his grandson, Joseph Faust. He is survived by: his wife Sandy, his daughter Tracie Bicksler Soule of Huntsville, AL (son-in-law Glenn Soule), his daughter Dawn Faust of Huntsville, AL (son-in-law Mark Faust), grandson Joseph Faust, his sister Peni Steffa of Beloit WI, and numerous nieces and nephews.
