Richard Q. (Dick) Richards of Franklin, NC and Ft. Myers, Fl.,   passed away January 17.  Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb 17 at Good Shephard Methodist Church, North Ft. Myers, Fl.  Dick was born in Ft. Myers April 5, 1940 to Richard Q. Richards and Mary Grey Dickinson Richards.  He graduated from the University of Florida and remained a "Gator" forever.  He married Victoria Winfrey and they had a wonderful life of traveling the country and enjoying great times with family and friends. He was a real estate broker and active in Ft. Myers organizations from Little League and Wrestling to the Real Estate Investment Society.  His real calling was to the ministry which he answered at his retirement and pastored to several rural churches in North Carolina.   Pastor Dickie was the one to call if help of any kind was needed.  He loved woodworking and particularly building the Little Red Food Pantries which are scattered through the North Carolina mountains.  He had a true servant's heart and gave without question. Dick is survived by his wife, Victoria and children Richard (Rebecca) Richards, Keith (Eileen) Richards and Kenneth (Frances, Richards and Stefanie (Robb) Paul, sister Sue and brother Lindsay as well as grandchildren Lucas, Shepard, Perianne, Caleb, Tyler, Jacob and Amelia.  Also surviving is a very special cousin, Frank Richards and so many friends who loved him.  Memorials may be given to the charitry of your choice.
