Richard "Todd" Gallop, of Belleview, FL was born in Coldwater, MI on 8/16/63, to Richard L. and Carolyn L. (Preston) Gallop(deceased), and passed peacefully on 2/3/25.
Todd spent the majority of his younger years in Central Lake, MI. and he moved to Central FL in 1982. He's survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Jeannette; and daughter, Kelsey Gallop (Paul Fisher); two grandchildren, Hazel and Manoah Fisher all of Abeline Tx; father Richard L. (Rosemary) Gallop of Ocala, FL. ; brothers, David M. (Christina) Gallop of Clermont, FL.; Cary V. Gallop (Sharon) Gallop of Gainesville, FL.; Brother-in- Law; Lonny (Julie) Clark of East Aurora, NY; Father-in Law, Daniel (Mary) Clark of Elma, NY; nephew Caleb Gallop, nieces Carley (Neil) Fleming and Shannon Gallop. He is preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Gallop and mother-in-law Ramona Cashman. Todd also had many loving cousins that he grew up with but specifically considered Michelle and Anita his "partners in crime" throughout his life!
Todd never met a stranger and always wore an amazing smile everywhere he went. In his later years, he and Jeannette created bonds with a neighborhood group that became the "126 crew!" They include: Anita; Mark & Cindy; Chris & Lisa; Donnie & Stacy; and Jason. The 126 renamed Todd, Turtle Todd," and those who know, know! Todd not only enjoyed hanging out with his friends, but also enjoyed classic cars, playing pool and playing his guitars.
There will be Celebration of Life on March 29, 2025.
