Richard (Dick) Roy Galbreath, Jr., age 81, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023, at the Hospice Care Center in Edgewater, FL.  He was the widower of Carol Ann Galbreath.  They shared over 50 years of marriage together.

Born December 10, 1941, in New Smyrna Beach, FL at the old Sunny South Hospital, Dick was a 5th generation Floridian and the son of Richard Roy Galbreath, Sr. and Stephanie Galbreath.  He graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School in 1960.  After graduation Dick joined the Air Force.  After his military service, he had many careers throughout his life, including carpenter, shrimper, lobster fisherman, and boat designer/builder.  Dick enjoyed fishing and watching old western movies and military documentaries.

He is survived by his son, Michael, granddaughters Megan and Hannah, brother Ron, sister Sandy Hardy, and his two beloved dogs, Shorty and Wishbone.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Halifax Hospice Care Center in Edgewater, FL .
