CELEBRATION OF LIFE

RICHARD PAUL MIGDAL

1950-2017

Richard Paul Migdal, age 66, passed away January 12, 2017 from heart failure.  He was born November 23, 1950 in Akron, Ohio and moved to Orlando, Florida in 1984.

In 2008, Rick married longtime friend Sherri Keller and they loved and cared for one another until the end.

During Rick's life, he was an amateur bowler and golfer, concrete finisher, bowling center manager, truck driver, and then he retired. He enjoyed 1950's music, riding his Harley, doing crossword puzzles, and spending lazy days with his favorite dog, Zoie. He loved spending time with his son Ted, cooking and going to the movies. He also loved the time he was able to spend with his granddaughter Sienna.

Rick was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Auxiliary Post 4287. He spent many hours calling Bingo, singing Karaoke, talking and laughing with his friends there. One Christmas Rick brought joy to many children when he played Santa Claus for the post.

Rick lived life to the fullest, on his own terms; he did it his way and made no apologies for it.  He was a big jokester, always smiling, and his sense of humor expanded his already large circle of friends. Rick was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Sherri Keller-Migdal, son Ted Migdal, stepson Jeremy J. Deel, and granddaughter Sienna Lauren Graham-Migdal.  He is preceded in death by parents Paul T. Migdal and Elinor (Judy) Migdal, first wife, Linda S. Migdal, and their daughter Lauren Louise Migdal.

Rick had an unforgettable presence and was deeply loved by so many.

He will be greatly missed.
