Richard "Ricky" L. Pizzurro Jr., age 44, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on March 14, 2024. He was born on June 26, 1979, in Columbus, to parents Richard L. Pizzurro Sr. and Lynn Meek.

His laugh was loud, his smile was contagious, he could be so obnoxious and just loved to have fun especially with his girls. He enjoyed a good game of cornhole, basketball, touch football, fishing and going to the park. Ohio State football on Saturday, the Browns game on Sunday.

He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, including his daughters, Mackenzie, Aubrey, Kendal Pizzurro; mother, Lynn Meek; father, Richard (Debbie) Pizzurro; sister, Stephanie Tisch; brother, Andrew (Ashley) Pizzurro; grandmother, Edna Meek; grandfather Joseph Pizzurro; wife, Jayme Pizzurro and; many cousins; nieces and nephews; as well as other extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Harry Meek; grandmother, Patricia Pizzurro; and great-grandparents, Al and Dorothy Heller; several Aunts and Uncles.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:00am, at Reynoldsburg Community Church, 1636 Graham Road, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow, beginning at 11:00am, officiated by Pastor Jeff Greenway. In honor of Rick's love for OSU, the family asks guests to wear OSU jerseys, scarlet or grey.
