Richard Louis Schenarts,85 of Lady Lakes FL formallly of Naugatuck CT passed away peacefully at home on September 30,2020. He is survived by his wife Hilda Schenarts. Richard was born on May 27,1935 in New Haven CT. He served in the United States Air Force and United States Marine Corps Reserve.  Richard was an Administrator for Danbury Hospital until he retired in 1993.  After retirement they relocated to The Villages in central Florida.  He enjoyed golfing,boating and fishing,cooking,creating stain glass pieces and lately painting. Rick was known for his infectious smile and laugh,quick wit and compassionate spirit. Rick was loved by everyone that met him.

He is survived by his daughter Suzanne Chojnicki of Newington CT;daughter Darlene and husband Gary Boelke of Murrells Inlet SC.; son Kenneth Drace of Brookfield CT; daughter Dawn and husband Paul Kocot of New Fairfield CT.  He will also be grately missed by his 6 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emily, Blake, Bridget, Natalie, Madeline and many grandpets.
