Richard Daryl Tripp, 53, of Port Orange died peacefully with his family by his side Friday, December 31, 2010.  Daryl was born a twin on November 17, 1957 in Daytona Beach, FL to Allen and Mary Morris Tripp.  He was affectionately known as "Daryl the Squirrel".  Daryl will be remember for the trees he removed, the houses he helped build, the quietness of his nature, his random acts of kindness and most important his lifelong friendships.  He is survived by his father, seven brothers, three sisters, daughter and three grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Volusia-Flagler, 2800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, 32129.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date
