Richard Carroll Varney Jr., age 71, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on October 9, 2023, surrounded by his family at home.  He was born on April 30, 1952, in Bangor, ME to Richard & June Varney SR. During Richard's working career, for the State police department as a pilot and as an airport administrator. He enjoyed several different activities which included: camping, biking, and especially spending time with his grandkids.

Richard is preceded in death by his father, Richard Sr. and brother, John Varney. He will be deeply missed by his wife; Ann Hackett, children; Samuel, Kathleen and Joshua Varney, grandchildren; Isaiah, Gia, and Vivian Varney, sisters; Nancy Renninger and Lisa Varney, Mother, June Varney.

Richard's Gathering of Friends will take place on 11-4-23 from 5 pm to 7 pm at 14 NW 15th Place   Cape Coral  FL  33993.
