Richard Leonard Zaborowski, 83, of Fort Myers, FL passed away on January 11, 2018 at the Cape Coral Rehab and Healthcare. He was born on February 20, 1934 in Gaylord, Michigan to the late Stanley and Placida (Kwapis) Zaborowski. Richard worked as a Supervisor for General Motors in Ypsalanti, MI retiring after 27 years. He was then the Service Director for Rampy Chevrolet in Ann Arbor, MI and recently he worked at the Shadowood Country Club in Bonita Springs. He was a member of LA Fitness, and he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his granddaughter. Richard is survived by his son Ted Zaborowski; his granddaughter, Bryanna Zaborowski; his sister, Lorraine Fordanich and her husband Dave; his brother, Larry Zaborowski and his wife Judy; his sister-in-law Janet Zaborowski; and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded and death by his brother, Don Zaborowski. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Affordable Cremations by Baldwin Brothers, Fort Myers, Florida.

A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd. 72, Sarasota, FL 34241. Interment will follow the Service.
