Obituary

Richard (Dick) Zettlemoyer, 89 of Wildwood Florida died April 28, 2020. Richard was born in Allentown, Pa, in 1930 the son of Paul and Kathryn Zettlemoyer.

Richard served his country as an Army Medic during the Korean War. A retired Professional Land Surveyor and member of the Society for the Preservation of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America. There was always a song in his heart, and he spent most of his life singing which gave him great joy. Richard also served on the Honor Guard for the American Legion #347.

Dick was Past President of the KWVA (Korean War Vets) and a member of the Continental Veterans club, where he was Captain of the Honor Guard for many years.

He is survived by his wife Doreen Zettlemoyer, his daughters Robin Weiss (Norman) Arkansas, Eileen Ashley (Frankie) Georgia, and Tiffani Pollio (Keith) Florida, and 6 stepchildren. His sister Nancy Heinsdorf of Arizona; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

He is Preceded in death by his first wife Dolores Zettlemoyer and his grandson Richard Luhrs.

Richard will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor and the songs in his heart.
