Ricki Don Harris, Sr. was born March 2, 1950 in Sherman, TX.  He lived a full and exciting life, and he loved to tell people that he had lived in 32 states and 2 foreign countries before he graduated high school.  He continued his love of travel through his work in the aircraft industry.  He worked for McDonnell Douglas for a portion of his career and traveled the world working on aircraft. He always had interesting stories to tell about his travels and the people he met.

His work took him to Greensboro, NC where he met Cathy Cagle.  They were eventually married and were together over 30 years.  They moved to The Villages, FL where Rick enjoyed his retirement years.  He loved riding around in the golf cart with his dog, Max, and his afternoon naps.  He also discovered his talent as a watercolor artist and he enjoyed displaying and giving away his artwork.  Rick had four brothers and sisters, three children, several grandchildren and lots of friends that he loved dearly.

He made his last trip on August 31, 2024 to be with our Lord in Heaven.  A celebration of his life will he held on March 2, 2025, on what would have been his 75th birthday.  Rick was always quick with a smile and a laugh and even at age 74 he still remained young at heart.  In his honor, please do something kind for another person today.
