Rita Kay Ewart, 72, of Cape Coral, passed away December 18, 2018, at Cape Coral Hospital. She was born May 11, 1946, in Richmond, VA., daughter of Elizabeth Simmons. Before moving to Florida, Rita was co-owner of the Windham Tavern in Ohio. She was an avid motorcycle rider and loved the outdoors. Rita was preceded in death by her daughter Sharen Zalewski. Surviving are her loving husband William "Bill" Ewart of Cape Coral, FL., daughter Michelle L. (Michael) Stowell of Lehigh Acres, FL., son Mario J. Kaseda of Chagrin Falls, OH., step daughters Debbie (Bob) Petrick, Karen Erickson, and Renee Mikovich, step son Norman (Kathy) Ewart, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
