Rita Silvers Hubbard, 72, of Fort Myers, passed away February 02, 2021, at Gulf Coast Medical Center, in Fort Myers, FL. Born September 27, 1948 in Roanoke, VA., she was the daughter of Thomas Silvers and Lucille Deaner.

Rita is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Richard Lee Hubbard of Fort Myers, FL., her two children, Rich Hubbard of Bonita Springs, FL., and Robyn (Robert) Fredeen of Naples, FL., her three grandsons, Randy Hubbard, Talon Hamm, and Chayton Hamm, her step-grandchildren, Justin Fredeen, and Emily Fredeen, her sister, Freida Waltz, niece, Lorri Hanson, and great-nephew, Brandon Wiley. All of these, she loved and touched deeply.

Rita will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a loving mother, a devoted "MeMe", and a strong woman with a feisty sense of humor, and the best laugh. She was a lively, fun soul who always made sure everyone around her was having a good time. Amongst her many hobbies and interests were music, dancing, ladybugs, magnolias, and golf.

A private family celebration of life was held on February 06, 2021.
