Rita M. Walters, of Orlando FL, formerly of Indianapolis IN, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2022 at 69 years of age.

Rita was born in September 5, 1952 in Indianapolis to the late John and Eleanor Walters.  Rita was a graduate of our Lady of Grace Academy in Beech Grove, Indiana.  Rita went on to earn her bachelors degree in special education from Indiana University, masters degree from West Georgia University in early childhood development.  She taught school for 45 years in Perry Township schools Indianapolis, Calhoun Georgia, and Fairmont Georgia before moving to Orlando and teaching special education in the orange county school system.

Rita is survived by her husband of 25 years, Travis Cornelison.  Sister,  Patricia (George) Harris, brothers Michael (Terri) Walters, Edward Walters Timothy (Rachel) Walters and several nieces and nephews.
