Robert L. Ball, born in Washington, DC July 10th 1945, passed away on January 12, 2017 at home. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jeannie Ball.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert O. and Irene Ball.  He is also survived by his children, Robert Stephen Ball and Nancy Day.  Bobby also is survived by his sisters Carol Ball and Patricia Duncan and his brother Gary Ball.  Bobby grew up in Annandale, Virginia, served in the United States Army from October 1965 to September 1967 and moved to Ormond Beach, Florida area in 1980.  He worked for the U.S. Postal Service starting in 1963 and retired in 1999.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Halifax Humane Society in his name.
