Robert Benjamin, 70, of The Villages, FL, passed away on November 1, 2024 after a brief but difficult battle with cancer.

Better known as "Bob", he was born on June 3, 1954 in New York, NY. Bob was a technician for WNYW, the local Fox television station in New York for 32 years. After retiring, he moved to The Villages where he enjoyed playing golf and became very active in the local music community. He played several instruments and joined a number of bands, including among others, The Ambassadors, The Villages Dixieland Band, The Villages Part Time Jazz Ensemble, and went on to lead The Olde Tyme Band and The Jazz Expedition.

He is survived by the love of his life, Susan, his brother Larry, and his two sons Steve and Paul.
