Robert "Bob" A. Bennett, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Delaware, passed away at home on June 5, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Bob graduated from Avon Grove High School in West Grove, PA. He was later employed as a plumber at the University of Delaware. Bob's employment history included being a member of the West Grove Fire Company in Penna, Aetna HH & Ladder Company in Newark, Delaware, a past Chief of Christiana Fire Company in Delaware, and serving in the US National Guard. He loved to ride motorcycles, golf, and NASCAR.

Bob is survived by his brother, Thomas Bennett (Barbara) of Ocala, FL; sister, Barbara Gentry (Bruce) of Nottingham, PA; 3 nieces, Adrienne Parker, Dawn Thomson, Jamie Laub; 2 nephews, David Thomson and Mark Thomson; stepdaughter, Dawn Meadow; granddaughter, Megan Koeller; grandson, Ryan Koeller; and 3 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Donna Bennett; and his parents, Clifford and Mary Bennett.
