Robert Michael "Mike" Birum – 78

Born and Raised in Union City, IN and Currently residing in North Fort Myers, FL – Mike passed away peacefully May 17th, 2021 after a lengthy battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years Louise Birum of North Fort Myers, Stepdaughter Suzanne Russ of Fort Myers, Granddaughters – Kara Jones (Indianapolis IN), Sarah Lee (Martinsville, IN), Leigh Anna Bradburn (Martinsville, IN) and 5 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Carol Brooks of Muncie, IN and Brother Tom Birum of Lima, OH as well as several nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Birum and 2 sisters Katherine Cotton and Barbara Hall.

Mike was employed at the Union City Body Company for 27 years and Kabert Industries for 7 years prior to retiring and moving to Florida. Mike was an avid bowler, golfer, and enjoyed fishing, farming and his pup's "Sassy" and "Lucy".

Cremation will take place in Fort Myers FL and per Mike's request No Service will follow.
